My Circus, My Debt… October 2023 Debt Payoff

Sticking to a budget and going gazelle intense on debt is amazing. However, I am the type of person who needs to also have fun and enjoy life especially with children. One way we have fun each year is throwing a Halloween party. This year our theme was physo circus. We went a little over board on the spending for the party. We did not start the planning stage early enough. Next year will be setting up a sinking fund for the party so we can set aside a little each month and pull from that sinking fund when needed. We will be also making more of the decorations instead of buying. My husband made a few this year but not enough. I have a Cricut and with some planning we can make a lot more. We could have done better with this year’s party budget wise but all we can do now is do better next year. It is pirate themed next year so could get interesting.
